Row flares over attempt to dilute radioactive waste

[摘要] The Energy Department are at the center of a bitter row over the disposal of radioactive waste. The department plans to add concrete to highly radioactive sludge to dilute its radioactivity. Independent experts at the National Academyof Sciences have been allowed to assess the long-term safety and examine the alternatives to this technique.
