RUI: Structure and Behavior of RF-Driven Plasma Filaments in High-Pressure Gases

[摘要] The filamentary discharge seen within commercial plasma globes is commonly enjoyed, yet not well understood. We investigate filament properties in a plasma globe using a variable high voltage amplifier. Results from the 3-year grant period and their physics are discussed.
