Watershed modeling at the Savannah River Site.

[摘要] The overall goal of the work was the development of a watershed scale model of hydrological function for application to the US Department of Energy???s (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS). The primary outcomes is a grid based hydrological modeling system that captures near surface runoff as well as groundwater recharge and contributions of groundwater to streams. The model includes a physically-based algorithm to capture both evaporation and transpiration from forestland.
