Post-traumatic structure: how depictions of rape impact on form and Roman Occupation
[摘要] The following collected documents comprise an original and complete, full-length work for the stage, and a 5,000-word critical accompaniment. The latter examines how rape, or depictions thereof, might impact on the structure of a play, whilst reiterating the purpose of structure to convey a play’s meaning. The stage play shares these objectives, but is equally concerned with rape as an existential threat to the Occupy movement.
