The comparative study of vehicles engine in different functioning situations

[摘要] The paper presents a comparative study of a Diesel engine functioning in different situations and at different partial loads and engine speeds. There are shown graphs of some experimental results, obtained by using concepts and algorithms from mathematical statistics. It is presented a study of functional factors influence on engine dynamics and fuel saving, by using correlation analysis, variance analysis, information theory and sensitivity analysis. There are highlighted characteristics of vehicle driving in urban and extra-urban environment.
