Public Health Ordinance (Cap. 49).

[摘要] This Ordinance makes provision for matters of public health in St. Helena including food hygiene, sewerage, sanitary control and control of animals. It established the Health Protection Board. The Ordinance, in particular, lays down rules for hygienic conditions in backeries. The Senior Medical Office or any Medical Officer may inspect any animal or food item which he or she has reason to believe is intended for sale for human food, or to be used as human food and may seize food which is unwhole
