Regional Act No. 19 on the protection and promotion of genetic resources “Born in Sicily” for food and agriculture.

[摘要] This Regional Act provides for the preservation and promotion of autochthonous genetic resources of agricultural and zootechnical interest, with a view to protecting agricultural ecosystems and enhancing quality production. Article 2 defines the breeds and species that are to be considered as autochthonous for the purposes of this Act. Article 5 provides for the setting up of the Voluntary Regional Catalogue of Genetic Resources.
