Decree No. 1250 of 2006 relative to slaughterhouses and processing facilities for aquaculture animals.

[摘要] This Decree establishes criteria for facilities that slaughter and process aquaculture animals, i.e. animals that are raised in a fishing breeding farm. The aim of the Decree is to safeguard health and well-being of aquaculture animals. The Decree shall apply to aquaculture and mariculture but it shall not apply to the slaughtering and processing of marine mammals. It shall be prohibited to establish or operate a fish processing facility without a permit to do so from the Food Safety Authority.
