Geographical Indications Act 2005 (No. 15 of 2005).

[摘要] This Act concerns protection of geographical indications. "Geographical indication" means an indication which identifies goods as originating in the territory of a country, or a region or locality in that territory, where a given quality, reputation or other characteristic of the goods is essentially attributable to its geographical origin. Protection under this Act shall be accorded to geographical indications, regardless of whether or not they are registered.
