Permitted Food Additives Regulations, 1998 (L.N. No. 256 of 1998).

[摘要] These Regulations shall apply to all food additives other than colours, sweeteners, flavourings, and flour treatment agents. They shall not apply to products intended for export (reg. 2). Only substances listed in the Schedules may be used as foodstuffs. Maximum levels indicated in the Schedules refer to foodstuffs as marketed, unless otherwise indicated. Additives permitted for use must satisfy purity criteria laid down by Directive 96/77/EC and subsequent amendments thereto (reg. 6).
