Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 8172 for Salt Iodization Nationwide.

[摘要] These Rules and Regulations implement Republic Act No. 8172 in order to achieve the following objectives: to contribute to the elimination of iodine deficiency disorders; to require salt producers/manufacturers to iodize the salt they manufacture, produce, distribute, trade and/or import; for the food processing and the food service industries to use only iodized salt; to provide mechanisms and incentives for the salt industry; to ensure the sustainability of the salt iodization program; etc.
