Regional law No. 243 “On food quality and food safety”.

[摘要] Regional state bodies shall grant assistance to research projects dealing with influence of GMO-containing foodstuffs on human health, financing of safety testing of foodstuffs containing GMO, issuance of permits for voluntary labelling of GMO-free foodstuffs. Labelling of liquors and beer with “High quality product” labels shall be prohibited. Use of public finances, including credits, for purchase of GMO-containing foodstuffs shall be prohibited.
