Food and Drugs (Amendment) Act ( No. 523).

[摘要] Section 3 now reads: "a person who manufactures, labels, packages, sells or advertises any food in a manner that is false, misleading, or deceptive as regards character, nature, value, additives, substance, quality, composition, merit or safety commits an offence ". Section 6A provides for the mandatory fortification with potassium odiate of salt for human consumption. A new subsection concerning preservation of food is inserted in section 7.
