Resolution No. 81 of 2009 considering the General Egyptian Authority for Standards and Quality as the unique authority entrusted to issue safety marks for commodities, goods and products.

Article 1 decrees that the General Egyptian Authority for Standards and Quality is the unique authority entrusted to issue safety marks for commodities, goods and products in order to protect consumers. Article 2 gives industries 6 months to regulate their situations.
