[摘要] This Law is composed of 15 articles. Article gives terms and definitions. Article 2 considers all crude (raw) salt within the borders of Syria belongs to the State. Article 3 entrusts the General Company for Phosphate and Mines with competencies of the transportation, storage, marketing and pricing of the untreated saline salt by iodine as well as the General Consumer-Firm with marketing of treated rock salt by iodine for edible use.
