[摘要] This Act provides for the establishment of the Botswana Bureau of Standards and the Standards Council. The Bureau shall be a body corporate and shall be responsible for the promotion and implementation of standards. It shall be supervised by the Council. The Minister shall appoint a Managing Director of the Bureau. The Minister may, on the recommendation of the Bureau, in respect of commodities or manufacturing processes set standard requirements and adopt standard marks.
