Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (No. 68 of 2008).
[摘要] This Act provides for the protection of consumers against malpractices in the placing on the market of goods and services. It also defines various rights of consumers and establishes the National Consumer Commission. "Goods" includes, among other things, anything marketed for human consumption, a legal interest in land or any other immovable and gas, water and electricity.
