Regulation on conditions of radiation of foodstuffs, permitted additional substances or other food components which can be allowed for ionizing radiation.
[摘要] The Regulation of the Minister of Health, which is composed of 17 Paragraphs and three Annexes, establishes that radiation of foodstuff is allowed only for: elimination or reduction of pathogenic microorganisms to the safe level for consumption; elimination of bacteria, moulds, mushrooms and parasites causing decomposition of foodstuffs; extension of the period of storage of fresh fruits and vegetables by stopping natural biological processes of ripening.
