[摘要] An Ordinance implementing the Directive No. 258/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the EC of 27 January 1997 on New Foodstuffs and New Ingredients for Foodstuffs. According to article 1, the competent authority to carry out the first inspection of new foodstuffs and ingredients are both the Robert Koch Institute and the Federal Institute for Consumer Protection and Veterinary Medicine.
