Consumer Protection Act (No. 38 of 1978).
[摘要] This Act regulates the offering, selling and other marketing of consumer goods and services by businesses to consumers. The Act applies also where a business acts as an intermediary in the transfer of goods or services to consumers. For the purposes of this Act, consumer goods and services are defined as goods, services and other merchandise and benefits that are offered to natural persons or which such persons acquire, to an essential extent, for their private households.
