Semi-analytical model of hydrogen ionization by strong laser pulse at low field frequencies

[摘要] We consider the interaction of hydrogen atom with a very intense low frequency laser pulse. The Henneberger-Kramers representation of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation is the most appropriate one for this purpose. It is shown that in the case of very low frequencies, the quantum dispersion of the electron wave packet plays a dominant role in the dynamics of the atom.
