Lessing's knowledge and criticism of English Literature

[摘要] This thesis discusses the translations and criticism of English Literature by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, with particular reference to Pope, Milton and Shakespeare. Lessing's original theology contributions, and his literary reviews are also considered.
