[摘要] This Act, consisting of 12 Parts, aims at protecting the health and safety of people and of the environment by identifying the risks that could result from gene technologies and by managing those risks. The Act regulates the use of certain techniques and the release of GMOs into the environment. Under the Act, dealings with GMOs must be licensed and the licensing system is set out under Part 5.
