[摘要] This Act defines the application sphere of Australian laws in the Antarctic so as to give effect to the Antarctic Treaty: A person to whom this Act applies, not being an Australian citizen, is not subject to the laws in force in the Australian Antarctic Territory in respect of any act or omission occurring while he is in Antarctica for the purpose of exercising his functions.
