[摘要] This Presidential Decree approves the Regulation on damages responsibilities caused to Environment. The Regulation, consisting of 4 Chapters and 1 Annex, aims at establishing the responsibility for the risk or degradation of the environment, based on the principle of «polluter-payer», in order to prevent and repair damages caused to the environment, according to Environmental Law No. 5/98. This Regulation applies for any activity susceptible to cause damage to the environment and/or be a threat
