Law No. 2.436 of 20 September 1995 forbidding the implantation or extension and fixing a deadline for the adaptation of industries producing soda-chlorine with mercury and diaphragm cells.

[摘要] This law, composed of 3 articles, forbids the implantation or extension of industries using mercury and diaphragm cells for the production of soda-chlorine in the State of Rio de Janeiro. It requires for those industries to adapt their production plants with environmental friendly processes within three years.
