Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1963.

[摘要] This Act concerns the protection of marine cables and pipelines that are beneath the high seas or in the exclusive economic zone. It defines offences of breaking or injuring submarine cables or pipelines by a ship registered in Australia. It also contains a provision relative to indemnity to be paid by the owner of the cable or pipeline for loss of fishing gear in preventing damage to a submarine cable or pipeline.
