Act No. 257 on the cessation of the use of asbestos.

[摘要] The present Act prohibits the use, importation and exportation of asbestos and products which contain asbestos. Particular authorizations may be issued by the competent Ministries by way of derogation of the prohibitions above-mentioned, as per article 1 (2). Article 4 provides for the setting up of a commission which shall be responsible for valuating environmental and health matters in relation to asbestos. Penalties are laid down under article 15.
