Petroleum and Natural Gas Act (R.S.N.L. 1990, c. P-10).

[摘要] This Act provides for the exploration and exploitation of petroleum and natural gas resources in the Province. The Act contains provisions on leases, permits and licences. Under section 11, the Lieutenant Governor in Council may establish the Fisheries Compensation Board for Petroleum Related Damages, which is also responsible for the administration of a compensation fund. The second Part of the Act is dedicated to royalties.
