[摘要] The Institute is engaged in the scientific and technological research and provides technical assistance in matters pertaining to the following: (a) evaluation of the productivity of the biological resources of the sea; (b) protection, development and improvement of the fisheries resources; (c) marine pollution; (d) dissemination of information; (e) professional training. The Decree establishes also the functions of the different organs of the Institute.
