Regional Act No. 26 amending Regional Act No. 6 of 2001 on the production, breeding, experimentation and marketing of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

[摘要] This Regional Act lays down certain amendments and addenda to Regional Act No. 6 of 2001 in matter of genetically modified organisms. Firstly, it replaces article 1 (which defines the objectives of the Act) and refers to the application of the precautionary principle in the field of genetic resources. Secondly, it amends article 2 by authorizing the use of genetically modified organisms for experimentation purposes, under certain conditions. Further amendments concern surveillance and monitoring
