[摘要] This Act amends various other Acts so as to make provision with respect to extension of powers to deal with emergencies at sea (power to establish temporary exclusion zones, powers of intervention), pollution control and marine safety, funding of maritime services, liability and compensation, protection of wrecks, maritime security, etc, international bodies concerned with maritime matters, and matters of miscellaneous nature. Section 11 introduces a new section in the Merchant Shipping Act 1995
