Law No. 10.638 instituting the Program for Combating Drought (PROSECA).

[摘要] This Law, composed of 6 articles, establishes the Program for Combating Drought (PROSECA). The Program, addressed to the semiarid areas of the North-East, shall: undertake research on local water supplies, identify alternative ways for compensating water demand and implement immediate actions aimed at eliminating the water deficit, empower local communities for dealing with semiarid climate and ecosystems. The Law indicates the main budgetary sources of the programme.
