[摘要] Part of the binding environmental framework of the European Union is the Regulation (EC) No. 1980/2000 on a Community eco-label award scheme. The above Regulation was adopted by the Cypriot legislation with Law No. 189(I)/2004. Aim of this law is to promote products which have the potential to reduce negative environmental impacts and to contribute in providing consumers with accurate and scientifically confirmed information regarding the products.
