[摘要] This Law of the Interim Government provides for control by legal and administrative means of pests and diseases affecting animals, plants and their products, in order to avoid adverse effects from such pests and diseases on the economy, environment and health of the Fiji Islands. For this purpose, the Law, among other things, establishes the Biosecurity Authority of the Fiji Islands, defines biosecurity import and export procedures and provides for biosecurity border and internal control.
