Law No. 8990 on Environmental Impact Assessment.

[摘要] There is hereby regulated the Environmental Impact Assessment to which shall be subjected all projects (related to the implementation of construction works, installations or schemes, or implying interventions into the natural and scenery environment) that may have a negative impact on the environment. The Law pursues a participatory approach by involving in the open assessment procedure not only central and local organs, but also non-profit organizations.
