Regional Act No. 8 promoting the production and use of timber biomass for energy purposes.

[摘要] With a view to promoting the use of renewable sources of energy and reducing greenhouse emissions, this Regional Act provides for subsidies and incentives for the production and use of timber biomass for purposes of energy production. Article 2 gives the definition of timber biomass and further specifies the definition of forest for purposes of these provisions. The Act specifies who may benefit from the incentives envisaged and regulates related procedures.
