Decree-Law No. 35/97/M providing for the protection of the marine environment from pollution.

[摘要] This Decree-Law provides for the protection of the marine environment from pollution. It consists of 10 articles prohibiting discharge of any solid or liquid residues (in particular petroleum or chemical substances) which may contaminate marine water, beaches or coastal areas and affect to their flora and fauna wildlife. Sanctions to be paid for illegal activity are specified in the text.
