Environment and Genetic Engineering Act (No. 9 of 2017).

[摘要] This Act helps promulgate safeguard of the environment and applies to the production and use of genetically modified organisms in plants, animals, micro-organisms, cell cultures and virus. The Act also applies to territorial waters and the fishing territory, to the processing, storage, bottling, packaging, repackaging and to waste management. Genetically modified organisms may only be manufactured, used, imported, transported, exposed, sold or marketed following laboratory research and approval
