Pollution of Waters by Oil and Noxious Substances Act 1986 (No. 27).

[摘要] This Act makes provision for the protection of the sea and certain waters from pollution by oil and other noxious substances, implementing the 1973 International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (Marpol). Part 2 prohibits the discharge of oil, oil mixtures, noxious liquid substances and garbage into State waters. Part 3 concerns ships carrying or using oil and the prevention of pollution from ships.
