Magnetic system for the quality control of specimens for Charpy impact test

[摘要] It was developed a non-destructive testing system based on magnetic methods for characterization of steel specimens, used in calibration of Charpy impact testing machines. The magnetic properties saturation, remanence, coercivity, and the hysteresis curves were used to create a «magnetic signature» of reference to ensure the value of energy absorbed by these standard specimens.
