Charge neutralisation from the side surface of an insulating plate

[摘要] This paper explores whether charge neutralisation from the side surface of an insulating plate is effective, on the basis of investigating the motion of positive and negative ions using 2-D numerical fluid simulations for different initial surface charge distributions and placements of an insulating plate to be neutralised.
