Cyclic variations of gas components in tree-ring chronologies as response to climatic cycles
[摘要] Vacuum-extracted gas samples from tree-ring wood of stems and large roots of some conifer species (of Tomsk oblast) are studied using a photoacoustic laser gas analysis. The retrieved CO2, (CO2+H2O) chronologies are analyzed by spectral and cross-spectral analysis methods. A quasi-cyclic character of variations of the chronologies has been revealed, which is probably due to changes in climatic conditions and solar activity.
