Investigation of forming method based on flanging process

[摘要] In this paper the new method of forming based on flanging is investigated using computer simulation. The obtained results supported the theoretical conclusions and allowed us to create a mathematical model, to define geometric dimensions of a blank for forming of the thin axisymmetric parts with minimal thickness variation. This analysis serves as a foundation for further design of the technological process.
