Synonymy ofLeonomyrmaArnoldi 1968WithChalepoxenusMenozzi 1922(Hymenoptera: Formicidae)

[摘要] Arnoldi (1968) erected the genusLeonomyrmafor a single newspecies,L. spinosa, which he had collected in July, 1949, nearPeremetriaja, East-Kasachstan (USSR), at the lower course of UralRiver. Up until present, only the type series of 4 ♀♀ and 14 ♂♂ havebeen known; no ☿☿ were found. In the course of a study in morphologyand behavior of several species of the ant genusChalepoxenus,I came across the description ofLeonomyrma. A directcomparison of its holotype (♀) and an allotype (♂) with material oftwoChalepoxenusspecies,C. muellerianus(Finzi) (=C. gribodoiMenozzi) andC. kutteriCagniant, clearly revealed the synonymy ofthe two genera.
