Performance of Equal Power Allocation in Multiuser OFDM-Based Cognitive Radio Systems

[摘要] The performance difference between a simple equal subchannelpower allocation and the optimal water-filling subchannelpower allocation schemes is studied for a multiuser OFDM-basedcognitive radio (CR) system. It is shown that this differencedepends on the average subchannel gain variations amongthe CR users as well as the activity levels of the primary users.
