Experimental and Analytical Power Flow in Beams Using a Scanning Laser Doppler Vibrometer

[摘要] An experimental spatial power-flow (ESPF) method is presented. This method provides a spatially continuous model of the power-flow vector field derived from experimental measurements. The power-flow vector field clearly indicates locations of energy sources and sinks as well as paths of energy transmission. In the ESPF approach, a scanning laser Doppler vibrometer acquires spatially dense measurements of the vibrating test structure. These measurements are used in solving for a spatially continuous 3-dimensional complex-valued model of the steady-state dynamic response. From this experimentally derived dynamics model, a spatial representation of the power flow is computed.
