Targeted Delivery of siRNA

[摘要] Therapeutic application of siRNA requires delivery to the correctintracellular location, to interact with the RNAi machinery within thetarget cell, within the target tissue responsible for the pathology. Each ofthese levels of targeting poses a significant barrier. To overcome thesebarriers several strategies have been developed, such as chemicalmodifications of siRNA, viral nucleic acid delivery systems, and nonviralnucleic acid delivery systems. Here, we discuss progress that has been madeto improve targeted delivery of siRNA in vivo for each of these strategies.
