Multiscale deformation analysis by Cauchy-Navier wavelets
[摘要] A geoscientifically relevant wavelet approach is established forthe classical (inner) displacement problem corresponding to aregular surface (such as sphere, ellipsoid, and actual earthsurface). Basic tools are the limit and jump relations of(linear) elastostatics. Scaling functions and wavelets areformulated within the framework of the vectorial Cauchy-Navierequation. Based on appropriate numerical integration rules, apyramid scheme is developed providing fast wavelet transform(FWT). Finally, multiscale deformation analysis is investigatednumerically for the case of a spherical boundary.
