Blowup of solutions with positive energy in nonlinearthermoelasticity with second sound

[摘要] This work is concerned with a semilinear thermoelastic system,where the heat flux is given byCattaneo's law instead of the usual Fourier's law. We willimprove our earlier result by showing that the blowup can beobtained for solutions with “relatively” positive initialenergy. Our technique of proof is based on a method used byVitillaro with the necessary modifications imposed by the natureof our problem.
